Neil Margolis, Ph.D.
I am an accomplished Information Professional focused on information delivery and making it easy for people to find and use information. I earned my Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania. After working as a molecular biologist in government, academia, and a small biotech company, I joined the Information Management department at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer).
At Wyeth, I worked as an Information Scientist, Knowledge Management specialist and Project Manager before moving into a managerial role. Most recently I was Associate Director of Information Strategy at Pfizer (formerly Wyeth), working on enterprise search, usability, the Intranet, Web 2.0 tools for collaboration and personalization, and the delivery of scientific information to support business processes and decisions.
After Pfizer, I became Senior Director of Clinical Knowledge Management at NantHealth, where we used clinical content to power our Evidence-based Oncology decision support software products and service solutions. I led the identification, development, review, and publication of clinical content from authoritative sources. In this role, I created and executed our Content Management Strategy to ensure cancer patients received quality evidence-based treatment, physicians got access to the best treatment options, and payers reimbursed appropriate cancer treatment.
I'm currently the Principal at Easy Arrow Consulting LLC, working on projects to identify, create, and organize scientific and clinical content in support of your business targets. I also do freelance writing with a focus on simplifying complex ideas and subjects. I'm open to consulting engagements as well as part or full-time employment.
